Early Childhood (3 yrs-K)
The Early Childhood Program, located on the Stuart campus, welcomes children in Early Learning (age 3), Pre-Kindergarten (age 4), and Kindergarten.
During these formative years from age three through five, children thrive in an atmosphere that nurtures the development of the whole child. The program at The Pine School is designed to enhance all areas of development including cognitive, social, emotional and physical growth. Classroom teachers, with full time assistant teachers, engage the children in a full day/full week program. Starting in Fall 2009: Our Early Learning and Pre-Kindergarten programs offer both full day and half day programs as well as a 3 day option.
There is a strong theme-based curriculum in attractive, lively classrooms. Children in Early Learning and Pre-Kindergarten are enriched through classes in music, Spanish, Chinese, physical education, library and gymnastics.
Kindergartners also attend art and computer classes. Academics and skill development are a daily focus. There are many opportunities during the year for children to perform for their peers and for parents and grandparents as they develop confidence and a positive self-image.
We invite your young child to join us on a journey that begins at three and leads to a life-long love of learning.
