Campus Life
The campuses of The Pine School are readily identifiable by their natural beauty and the constant hum of purposeful activity.
The Lower School sits on eleven acres of wooded land in a residential area of Stuart. Children from ages three in Early Learning through those in grade 6 have access to playing fields, a playground, a gym and performance center, a cafeteria and an outdoor pavilion as complements to the classroom buildings. There is a library and technology lab on campus.
The Middle and Upper Schools are situated on 142 acres of the finest sugar sand in all of Martin County. The site is of great historical and ecological significance, housing Indian middens and native flora and fauna. The campus is, in effect, an outdoor classroom for environmental studies. The buildings were designed by the internationally renowned architect Scott Hughes. A glass-encased library connects cantilevered classroom buildings and shines like a lighthouse at night. There are facilities on campus for athletics and the arts, a production studio and computer lab, science labs, and seminar rooms.
From early morning into the evening, the campuses buzz with activity: academic classes, after-school programs, co-curricular activities, athletic competitions, concerts and art shows, and programs open to both The Pine School community and the greater community.
If you have not visited one or both of our campuses, stop by and let us show you the spirit and life of The Pine School in action.
