MEETING TIMES
Times change depending on upcoming events, but typically it is the first Wednesday of every month at 8:15am. Location rotates between campuses. Look for details in the weekly Knight Writer.
EVENTS & PROGRAMS
GOLF TOURNAMENT
Each year in the fall the booster club runs a golf tournament. Eagle Marsh Golf Club hosts a fun filled day where golfers of all abilities are welcome. The golf tournament is the largest event and fundraiser that the Booster club undertakes each year.
KNIGHTS MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM
The Knight Membership program is an opportunity for Pine School families to support the booster club and in return get free admission to all high school home games and receive complimentary member t-shirts and access to prize drawings. For further details download the information sheet
HOMECOMING
The Booster club plays a significant role in helping to organize and facilitate the Schools Homecoming events
FUN RUN
Each year the Booster club will have a school wide Fun Run which provides the school community with a fun activity that raises money for all extra-curricular programs in the Arts & Athletics. More detailed information on this event will be available shortly.
CONCESSIONS & ADMISSIONS
At each home game there is a concession stand and at all high school games there is an admission charge. The Booster club runs this program
TEAM PARENT PROGRAM
Each team a team parent is identified and given a clear job description. The Booster club pays for coach gifts and end of season party expenses.
JOB-DESCRIPTION OF A BOOSTER CLUB MEMBER
1) Attend meetings
2) Assist where possible with events hosted by The Pine School Athletics e.g. Concessions at tournaments etc.
3) Be part an organizing committee for at least one of the events organized by the Booster club
4) Be an advocate for athletics for The Pine School
Participate in any discussions at Booster club meetings regarding issues for the department.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
The Booster club has an executive committee and each member of that committee is responsible for one or more of the events above. Each event has its own committee which often only meets in the build up to that event e.g. Golf Committee only meets in the fall.
